Account & information

You control the account and the archive.

Account deletion, local data, backups, permissions, and App Store billing are separate controls. Here is where to manage each one.

Current iPhone release

Manage your information

Delete your authentication account

Open Account in the app's Settings and choose Delete Account. The app asks Apple to confirm the account, revokes its Sign in with Apple authorization, and then deletes the Clerk authentication account.

Delete the local archive

Open Settings → Data controls → Delete local archive. Account deletion does not erase the local archive or backups; those remain under your separate control. Deleting the app can delete the private archive stored on that iPhone, so create and verify a Files backup first if you want to keep it.

Manage device permissions

Revoke Photos, Camera, Microphone, or Speech Recognition access at any time in iPhone Settings. Text-only memories remain available without those permissions.

Manage billing separately

Deleting an As Lived account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Apple billing continues until you cancel it in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. See the subscription details for renewal and access terms.
