Common questions
How do I send beta feedback?
Open TestFlight, choose As Lived, and tap “Send Beta Feedback.” You can include a screenshot when it helps, but remove private memory text or media first. Crash reports can be shared through TestFlight without attaching your archive content.
How do I delete one memory?
Open the memory, scroll to Delete Memory, and confirm. As Lived removes the memory and private files stored for it on that iPhone. A separate Files backup is not changed.
How much does As Lived cost?
As Lived is a one-time paid download. The U.S. launch price is $4.99; the App Store shows your local price before purchase. There is no subscription or in-app upgrade. See the purchase details for what is included.
I already bought As Lived
Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase and find As Lived in your App Store purchase history to download it again. Your journal is stored separately on your iPhone: downloading the app does not restore your memories. Restore your verified Files backup when moving to a new device.
Do I need Apple Intelligence?
You can write, record your voice, save photos, and use basic search without Apple Intelligence. Optional on-device features depend on compatible hardware, supported languages, and your device settings. As Lived requires iOS 26 or later.
I need help with an Apple purchase
There is no recurring As Lived subscription to cancel. For a charge you do not recognize or a refund request, use Apple purchase support. Deleting the app or its local archive does not request a refund.
I am moving or deleting the app
First create and verify a user-controlled backup in Files. Deleting the app can delete the private archive stored on that iPhone. See account and information details for separate local archive and backup controls.
A backup passphrase is lost
The passphrase is never stored and cannot be recovered. If the original archive is still available, create a new backup with a passphrase you can retain safely.
Does my journal sync automatically?
No. The current release keeps your journal on your iPhone and in backups you choose to create in Files. No account is required, and the app does not upload or sync your memories. Create a new backup after adding or editing entries, and verify it before changing devices.
